Here it is, after 2 weeks working on that mix! I really wanted to do something special for that pre-set since it's now 2 years that I've started this whole concept of preview mixes for events with the help of Wissam. Pre-sets are introducing the artists to the people, are also used as a warm up mix and are helping the promoters. It is also a teaching class for the DJ as he needs to browse through discographies. Last year, I introduced the post-sets with Tiësto, but couldn't do another one unfortunately as we didn't have another chance to catch an event that needed to be 'post-seted'. We will mix a post-set as soon as we have the chance to do it.

So for the 2 years anniversary, I went searching for Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten classics on internet and I managed to get myself some lossless vinyl rips from collectors based in Montreal (half of the set (13 tracks) are vinyl rips). Searching them took me a long time.
You can tell they are vinyl rips since the kicks aren't compressed at all - trying to beatmatch those kicks wasn't easy - and the sounding is very different. I think it is important at some point to do a small classic retrospective in their original sounding, otherwise we wouldn't know much about them. I'm very satisfied of the final result and I hope you will enjoy the Pre-sets 2 years anniversary as much as I do.
